I'm selling my Orange Patriot Frame. I've got myself a rigid singlespeed for the Winter- I can't really justify having two bikes, especially when I am so overbiked with this one anyway!
I purchased it off of somebody on here getting on 2 years ago now, he was the second owner of the frame. The first owner only used it for Cross Country riding, and the guy I purchased it off of had used it for riding around the lakes.
I purchased the frame just as I was getting back into riding, and wanted something more comfortable than my old aluminum hardtail, I had thoughts of grandeur and using it to it's potential, but commuting to work, riding around Greenham Common, and along Watership Down and Wayfarers walk really isn't doing that- it's had a really easy life to be honest!
------
Here's a picture of the frame built-up, on Greenham Common:

This is with Marzocchi 66's, at 150mm.
-------
You can see dimensions, geometry, suitable forks and Oranges blurb on their page here: http://www.orangebikes.co.uk/2004bikes/bikes.php?bike=patriot#.
-------
There are pictures of the frame here: http://www.podmans-stuff.co.uk/mystuff/forsale/patriot/. These shows the hollowtech BB which ISN't included, and the FSA DH Pig Pro headset, Deore front mech and rear Fox shock (with propedal), which are included.
As you can see there is the usual cable-rub, and a bit of damage where the chain has came off, but otherwise the frame is in very good condition- there are no cracks or dents!
-------
I've also got some Mavic EX729 rims and Shimano triple-ring saint cranks I can sell with it, if a buyer is interested!
I'd like £290 plus postage/ collection (frame and headset only)- I'm located near Newbury.
