I love my downhill bike. I really do. But it sits in the cellar for most of the year, save for the odd weekend.
I miss my xc suspension bikes.
So... here it is:
An Orange 222 frame (small/medium). I'm 6ft, and it is a wee bit small for me, but lots of fun chucking around.
Marzocchi 888RC2X forks (just serviced). Currently with soft springs, but I also have the mediums
Fox vanilla rear
Funn Descender rims on Hope hubs
Juicy 5 brakes
Sunline V3 bars
Deore rear mech/shifter (mangled the x9 at Fort William)
Would love an 18 inch Orange 5, or Blood, or a large Cannondale Prophet... or something else?. Depending on age/condition, I know the 222 may not be equivalent value, but would be happy to let the full bike go for frame/forks etc...
Have done a bit of research r.e. price, and I think £800 is fair. Open to offers within reason though.
