I purchased this bike in September 2009 directly from Merida for £2500 on a whim after deciding that I really wanted to get into XC racing.
Sadly this never happened due to a dislocated knee and a new house purchase last year.
The bike has covered less than 300 miles of light off road use and has been fully cleaned after each ride.
The frame has been protected with helicopter tape from new that has been removed to show its condition for it's sale. There are a few light lacquer scratches dotted around but they are not noticeable.
The original down tube protector is still on along with the chain stay protector.
The bike has never been crashed and is nearly standard. The only change being that the lowers on the forks were changed by Merida (sent off to Rock Shox) from SID Race to SID Team in September last year.
