NEW - BNIB Cateye EL220/LD150 front and rear commuting combo - gift surplus to requirements: £27.50
A smorgasbord of Lumicycle stuff - I've priced these separately as well as at the end priced them as a batched 'system' as Lumicycle terms it.
> HID lamp unit - a 12W unit which gives a 40W halogen / 700 lumen equivalent: £35 posted
> 2 halogen lamp units inc. zip tie mounts - one 20W flood, one 12W spot. According to the Lumi site these put out nearly 1000 lumens as a pair but I'm finding that hard to swallow. But they do make a great commuting pair (even better if you get a glow ring): £20 the pair, or £12.50 each
> 2 bar mount QR brackets - will fit both 25.4 and 31.8 bars (the extender link is already fitted on one, would come with the other: £6.50 each
> 2 extension cables, 1.2m - so you can run a helmet lamp from a battery in a backpack (I used to run bar lamps from a battery at the junction of the toptube/seat tube): £5 each
> helmet mount: £12.50
> 2 NiMH batteries, 13.2V/4.0Amp/hour (i.e. 52 W hours) - one is slightly more recent than the other (has velcro attachment rather than clips), I used to get 4 hours from the HID off one and 3.5hrs off the other one (about 2 hours for each from the halogen lamps). I've periodically charged these and have brought them in from the garage when it's gone sub-zero, and they still appear to be juicing up the lights fine. £30 for the newer one, £25 for the other.
> NiMH smart charger: £10
System 1: HID / battery / cable / helmet and bar QR / smart charger: £85
System 2: 20W, 12W lamps / battery / cable: £50
NiteRider Evolution - a 10W lamp unit, battery, bar mount, helmet mount, extension cable, charger. Always liked the way this points neatly over the stem from the bar mount. Again, not been out on this for some time but I have charged this up periodically: it used to run for around an hour depending on the temperature. Handy for a short commute, charge it up between rides. £30 posted.
