I can’t really justify having a couple of MTB’s in the shed any longer due to family commitments / time etc so I’ve decided to sell my least used one.
It’s a 2012 Kinesis FF29 in the dark grey & sky blue highlights, and the spec is as follows:
Medium sized frame, so I’d say it’d suit people who are between 5’8” & 6’.
Standard FSA headset – the one that you get from Upgrade bikes as a frame option
2011/12 Reba RL’s, 100mm, 1” 1/8th steerer with hope 1.5” adapter, QR with the pop-lock mechanism removed and used as normal compression / lock-out dial.
Hope Pro II Evo hubs laced to 32h Stans Crests as part of a Hope Hoops set up, the front has been rebuilt with silver spokes and the rear as standard with black spokes due to me folding the front wheel.
Full 2012 XT 2x10 with 11-36t cassette and KMC X10L chain in gold.
2012 Deore M596 brakes with 180mm front & 160mm rear Shimano rotors.
Thomson inline post.
Thomson 70mm zero rise stem with Sunline V1 flat bars cut to 736mm.
SDG Ti duster saddle in black / sky blue.
SDG / ODI lock-ons in sky blue.
Currently has White M50 pedals, but I’ve also got some black M530’s if that’s what you’d prefer.
The bike is in good used condition with cable rub evident and some stone chips & general trail marks, there are no dings or dents that I can see. The crank arms have some heel rub on them and the top caps on the brakes are a bit scraped / scuffed from the same incident that saw for the original front wheel, but other than that there’s nothing to report.
I’d like to sell it as a complete bike, but I will consider splitting it if I can get firm sales on all the big items, like frame, wheels, forks etc.
Paypal, direct bank transfer or cash (more than likely on collection) are the preferred methods of payment.
If you want to collect that’s fine but I can post it no worries, obviously postal costs would have to be considered (I’d imagine in the region of £20 - £25 fully insured with a courier)
Finally, I’m after £850 as a complete bike but I’m open to reasonable offers. email me on ste_bowman AT hotmail.com
