Absolutely mint. No chain suck, no signs of wear, no damage, perfect decals. Passable as brand new.

Bead blasted natural ti finish. 26inch. 100mm suspension geometry, but could take a 120mm fork. Team green/yellow decals. Sterling Silver headbadge.

Thomson seat collar.

Seat Tube 53.0cm ctr-top
Head Tube 14.0cm
Top Tube 56.5cm actual
Top Tube 57.5 virtual horizontal ctr seatpost to ctr headtube

Now selling for the bargain price of £1,000 posted fully insured. The new price for this specification is £3,000.

Genuine reason for sale. Having moved to central London I live too far from decent trails to get the best out of a super bike frame like this. I am replacing it with a cyclocross bike which will be a bit more versatile for my needs.

I am 6ft 1in and it was in all honesty a little bit too small for me. I had a lot of seatpost and a 12cm 5deg stem with 2cms of spacers. Would be perfect for somebody between 5ft10 and 6ft 0in.

I am lucky enough to have a few bikes, which meant that I could built this specifically for off-road, so wanted it as agile as possible. Probably went a bit too extreme.

Shame, beautiful frame and have promised myself will get an IF one day.

Afraid it probably is my rockbottom. It certainly hasn't had £2000 worth of riding or wear'n'tear since new and definitely a whole lot of frame for the money vs a Curtis.

How long have you had it and how much have you rode it ? Just looking on I/F website price is $3410 which converts to about £2,200 is yours a custom version ?

I have had it for 12 months. I bought it just when new XTR became readily available. I sold the groupset and rest of the kit last week. Literally ridden it less than 100 miles. Shocking waste!

UK prices seem to have come down since I bought mine and now start at £2,700 and then you pay £90 extra for the silver headbadge. See here:

You can never compare US$ prices with GBP. Shipping, taxes and distribution costs aren't apples/apples.

All IFs are now custom. You no longer pay extra for it. Mine was actually fairly standard, but I asked for a 0.5deg steeper head angle for quicker response.

The intangible benefit of this particular frame vs a new one is that it was built in Somerville before they moved recently. Those 'in the know' think that they lost a few of their best welders in the move.

Fighting hard against this and think i've come up with a reason to pass .Seat tube length equates to 19" ctr to ctr and 20 1/2 " ctr to top so about an inch bigger than my Hummer and probably too big !Although annoyingly Top tube is same length !So Curtis is £850 for Reynolds or £749 for T45 hhmmm !Walks away muttering to self like Muttley on a bad day !

It is indeed 18.5 inches ctr-ctr and 20.5 inches to the top.

I ran a 78.5cm seat height (ctr bb to top of saddle) and this was probably about as much seatpost showing as you would want. I have a 33 inch inside leg and had plenty of standover.

Totally understand. It really is a beautiful frame at a great price, but all of those things only apply if it fits you.

So were you running seatpost at the max limit then ? Oh and what size seatpost is it and can the warranty be transfered or only to the original owner ?I'm 5ft 11in ish BTW .Be back tomorrow .

Hmm 33 inch inside leg. Am only 34. Sure it won't stretch to 6'4? Not sure it will but beauty of a frame.

No, the seatpost was a 330mm Thomson and some way below the min insertion line. After a motorbike crash, I have been riding with a fairly level saddle and bar height drop. This restricted the seatpost height somewhat. Ultimately, the frame is a fairly standard 18.5/19 inch. I have provided all of the measurements, and I guess it is then a case of comparing these to yours.

As much as I really would like to sell the frame, I genuinely think it is spot on for somebody 6ft, but too small for someone 6ft 4.

Already an amazing frame at an amazing price, but if price is the stumbling block here, I'll drop to £900 delivered.
