These might well work on a 29er, but are probably too short. You'd be better off getting 29er specific forks, as these are designed to work with a 26" wheeled mountain bike, like the rather nice Singular Hummingbird. And they do that very well indeed. I've been using them on my Genesis Io for some time:

And they work very well. But I have to make room in the shed, and that means spare wheels and forks are on the way out. Here's what they look like off the bike:
The forks are spotless, the steerer is 178mm. I'll remove the crown race before posting. £45 posted.
