Handbuilt using the best of materials.....
DT Swiss 240s hubs (shimano fitment)
DT and Wheelsmith DB spokes
DRC CX/R Pro Racing Semi-aero rims
The wheels were built for my 'good' bike around 2 and a half years ago, so have been used mainly for training through the better weather months and racing on. The wheels have always been looked after, regularly getting them trued up and i had the rear wheel completely rebuilt in April last year.
Although the wheels are built for speed these are very tough too, they were built with this in mind as the roads can be poor plus i used to be quite a bit heavier. Weight isn't super-light but around the 1700g mark so nippy enough and really stiff for climbing. The semi-aero rims allow you to get upto speed quickly and aid you in holding that speed also tough as old boots!
Condition as mentioned earlier is very good, rims are true and not worn, spokes are tight and bearings fairly smooth. The only thing worth mentioning is the freehub body is a bit chewed, this is common as it's a lightweight alloy and currently doesn't effect performance.
NB: No cassette or Skewers are included.
