This is a really good quality Down jacket, none of your cheap Chinese with this one. This was made in Boulder Colorado and purchased by me in Boulder, Colorado when I hitchhiked there in 1976. Holubar were leaders in Mountaineering equipment manufacture and cost me a lot of hard earned backpacker $’s. Just because, however, it is vintage does not change the quality and usefulness of this jacket. It actually has had very little use – I hitchhiked across and up into some remote parts of Canada in the depth of winter and when it was really into double figures sub-zero and combined with an artic wind-chill I would wear a down vest underneath. It stayed mostly in my backpack for 5yrs as I travelled and circumnavigated the world; it came out for a while in the Annapurna Mountains in Nepal but mostly I was in the Tropics and it stayed packed away. It has been stored in the airing cupboard since 1982, as I became a size large once I stopped living out of a backpack!
It is in very good condition with no rips or tears – it smells fresh, it does have some very light insignificant grub but I can wash it if you like. As you can see the hood only came out in Canada (no real sunlight – only snow skies) so the colour is fresher.
It will be a very sad sale if anyone is interested as I remember so many adventures when I look at it – but it comes complete with all the good vibes, karma and karma-phala that have been attached to it’s adventures.

These links are complete with bearings and have only had less than a hundred miles use so are essentially as new. They were £150 new so thinking £85 posted. (the bearings come to £50 alone and so there would be no bike shop cost for fitting as you can simply swop the links across).

This is a '07 Medium 17.5" frame, which suits a rider up to 6' / 6'1". It is in very good condition and there are no dings. These are fantastic frames; this was my partners, I ride a size large myself and I much prefer this to the later curly style model; it climbs like a goat and yet the suspension feels bottomless. This is a frame that will meet all your XC needs and yet will also be totally at home on the Trail Center black runs. If you like a firm ride for climbing flick the lever and move the rear of the shock up to the top; if your going for some downhill and want more sag and a lower centre of gravity for faster cornering move it down to the bottom or select any position in between to suit your preference.
