FS: Cannondale 1999 F700SL in beautiful Chromalusion Purpleen

Classic bike, very lightweight XC hardtail, medium size, indestructible v stiff CAAD2 frame, ultra reliable Fatty D headshok, mostly original components (some reaching the end of their life), USE XCR suspension seatpost. Disc-ready frame though currently fitted with stock V brakes. Brilliant fast retro bike which I've had from new. Unfortunately my shed is now full of newer bikes so have reluctantly decided it's time to part with it.

Fife (Eastern Scotland). £175 to buyer who can collect.

It's just described as Medium, I've never really known but I think it's a 17".

I'm 5 ft 7 in. It's definitely an XC race style bike, flat bars, long stem so reasonably stretched out riding position. I like it but not everyone would.

Will look for some pics.

Well the brakes could do with being replaced and the wheel rims have an 'advisory' on them. You'll need new tyres. Everything else is holding up pretty well. It has been regularly serviced, and the Headshok was serviced not so long ago - not done a huge number of miles since.

V busy at work so will get some pics up when I get the chance, which might be a couple of days.
