Brodie Zealot 2008 £500

RockShox Monarch 3.1, 160mm travel
“Like a chameleon, it blends in wherever it is. At first glance it looks XC, with all that bright plumage. But when you get closer, the spec starts to speak of a more anarchistic bent.”
I originally bought this bike direct from Simon at Progressive bikes in January and unfortunately a combination of my lack of skill and a knee injury have meant that I could never hope to get the best out of this bike, so I’ve decided to move the bits onto something more suitable. The bike is an absolute hoot to ride and I’d thoroughly recommend it.
There are some positive reviews on Bike Magic and a review of the 2007 version here. If you are after a less common bike then I don’t think that you are likely to run into many of these. The condition is good but the paint chips easily and the rear mech’ cable rubs the swing are when the bike is not sagged.

These forks have a lockout but are not travel adjustable. Some people have reported problems with this model year and although I haven’t had any problems I don’t think I have used them often/hard enough to cause problems.
Excellent condition due to lack of use although I have taken every reasonable precaution to look after them.
If you are interested in both the frame and fork I’ll include the headset (1 1/8" FSA Orbit X).
Postage at cost.

One of these, the child has grown of it now so it’s just tacking up space. Not in fantastic condition (I rolled it one day after dropping the child of at school) but if you want it you can have if for the postage.
I should point of that the Zealot and trailer have never been used together.
