I have decided that I just don't use this enough now and have decided to split it down and sell some of the parts. Please note the bike is currently still built up and I can get specific pictures of the parts as requested.
If interested in the WHOLE bike, drop me an email at the address below.
First of all is the frame, it's a Solid Flair, Solid is a german brand and the bike is classed as a slopestyle bike.
This makes it a great UK DH / FR / FUN bike and is great for uplift days, freeride parks and your local DH track.
The unique thing about this frame is you can run it single speed if you want as it pivots around the BB shell. This makes for an utterly simple, low maintenance bike that rides like a bmx. It is also extremely quiet with no chain banging around. The frame takes up to a 160mm fork and has adjustable travel and can be set at either 130mm or 160mm.
Included with the frame is a Roco R coil shock. I currently have a Ti spring on there or have the original steel spring as well. I will confirm but I believe the Ti is around 600 weight and the steel one is 550. I weigh 12 stone and found this a good balance between being able to pedal and having a good SAG setup.
The bike originally came in the standard white colour and was tatty so I stripped the paint and had my local powder coater paint it in 'Howies' blue - this is the same blue that Curtis bikes use as he paints their frames for them.
It is a lovely colour and goes really well with the red Roco R shock.
Whilst I had it apart I also replaced all the bearings to BETD Enduro ones (better red seal ones) and when I changed the forks over I had the head tube faced and reemed and a new FSA Headset installed.
I had some Solid graphics as well and as you can see from the poor phone picture there is 'Solid' on the underside of the downtube and a head tube logo as well.
The frame has a few marks here and there, most noticable one is where the rear brake cable has worn the paint where it moved in the frame when the suspension moved. I have stopped with by putting a clear patch in its place and fixed the rear brake cable better.
I will include with the frame the FSA headset and the red chain tugs. I also have a seatpost shim that drops it down to 27.2 (from a 30.9 I think) that I am happy to include.
I am looking for £510 posted with the Ti spring or £450 posted without. (please note this is for the frame and parts listed, not the whole bike as pictured).

Next up is some 2009 Marzocchi 55 RC3 Forks in gun metal grey with red graphics.
These were purchased in 2010 from Merlin Cycles and have had hardly any use, not even sure if that had bedded in yet.
They have 160mm of travel, 20mm bolt through, rebound and compression adjustment as well as air pre-load.
There is a small mark here and there, mainly from being on the back of the car and the stantions are mark free.
I think the steerer tube is roughly 185mm but again I will confirm.
I know that Marzocchi's have had some bad press with previous models and before I bought these I contacted Windwave (importer and warranty people) and the guy explained that the problems are mostly with the 2008 air forks and that there wasn't any issues with the RC3 cartridge that is the same in the 888 and 66s and that the forks came with a 3 year warranty and as I purchased in 2010 still have some time left. I have the receipt and would be happy to assit in any claim if required - Don't think they will just thought I'd cover it.
Looking for £250 posted
I don't have any pics but see the picture below of them on the bike:

Last of all is a set of Pro II hubs on Syncros DS24 rims.
The rims were originally white and when I had my frame powdercoated I got these done in basmatic grey if I recall correctly. When I built them back up I built them up with red nipples and black spokes and the wheels were dished and tensioned at Bad Ass Bikes on the Mendips.
The front wheel has the 20mm bolt through adaptors and the rear wheel has the 1omm bolt up axle (135mm spacing)
Thinking £180 posted for the pair.
