I have bought a new Orange Blood so I have my 2010 Orange Alpine 160 in Blue for sale.
It rides fantastically well, and really suits fast riding. It may not be the quickest climber but it's surefooted and comfortable. It excels on the DH and this bike was described by Dirt magazine as the "A super quick six inch with fantastic angles". The 16 inch size was perfect for me (Im just under 6ft) as its quite a long bike and it was ideal for the kind of riding it was intended for. The 18 inch has a standover which jumps up by a whopping 40mm and made riding more difficult in my opinion, so for anyone under 6" I would recommend the 16.

The bike is equipped with a Fox dhx 3.0 coil shock with a 450lb spring. It comes with a headset made up of a ritchey top bit and sunline v1 bottom half. The reason for this is the bottom half of my headset was still in good condition so I left it on the bike. I can supply the new bottom half of the Ritchey head set if this is an issue. It also comes with a used Hope BB, this still has plenty of life left in it and has no play in the bearings.
The bike is in generally good condition and has recently had the pivot bearings replaced by Ride on in Rawtenstall. However, it does have some cosmetic scratches and one small ding on the downtube from a stone. This is approximately 2/3mm circular and no more 1.5 mm deep so is not in any way a structural concern. The other small scratches are the usual you would expect from a bike like this, such as some frequent fine dull scratches on the top tube from getting on and off with muddy shorts, and some chain slap marks.
I will be sad to see this bike go it looks great when built and rides fantastically.
I am looking for £800 for the frame, headset, bottom bracket and seat clamp. I don't know what postage would be exactly but imagine it would be about £25/£30? Or I am happy to meet somewhere reasonable or do cash on collection. I live in West London but come up North quite often to visit friends.
