After having my bike stolen I bought a replacement bike whilst I waited for ages for the insurance company to sort it out. The claim was settled and as a result I have £531 to spend at the website wheelies. As I already replaced the bike I don't need another one. So I thought I'd ask here if anyone wanted to buy the 'voucher' from me. If your interested get in touch and we can sort something out to benefit both of us. Email is best.

What is it with this Wheelies business? Why does everyones insurance keep giving you Wheelies vouchers and not reimbursing money. Is it in the terms of yur policy?

The first time I had a bike stolen I couldn't fault them but this time the cash settlement figure is far to low to be acceptable. The woman dealing with my claim told me just to stick it on ebay. I thought a slightly better option was to ask here first rather than just pick some random bike.

stops people from scamming and most insurance companines get a discount from wheelies because they can supply a high volume of product, the settlement 'voucher' they give you, doesnt cost them anywhere near as much as they give,so it works out cheaper for them because of the discount wheelies provide to them, its a load of b####x realy, best company we have had dealings with is the co-op,they just request a quote from the place of purchase, and then issue a cheque.just a shame that people are getting stung under this wheelies thing

I told my insurance company that Wheelies weren't an acceptable option once.. they didn't do Klein, and were trying to tell me that Cannondale were better.. **** that!
If wheelies don't do the same brand replacement as your original bike then you could always get the money sent to your LBS.. They could send the reciept of your bike as proof of purchase, and you get the money as credit with your LBSPosted 4 months ago #
