Non dynamo, for my wife’s bike.

    Any ideas?

‘Best’ option seems to be a BM Ixon Premium and associated fork mount from ze Germans.

I’d much prefer to buy from a shop, but the price difference is just too much.

Any alternative lights or mounting ideas?
Prefer cells to USB only charging if poss.

    Thanks in advance.

For bikepacking I use a bar extender to raise my light above my harness

Lower would be better for casting shadows though

Keep it on the fork crown, bar clutter is a PITA.

Already got a bell and speedo on there Al.
    🙂

Tried an Aldi/Magicshine type thing on a riser block but the bag just cuts off the useful beam and it’s a bit dazzly.

Fork mounts just seem to add to the hassle of packing and tend to get in the way.

You reminded me that I needed to look for a better fork bracket for my SON light –
