    Other than the enduring Endura MT500 range, are any other companies doing lycra shorts/bibshorts specifically designed for mountain biking (e.g. more robust fabrics, different padding)?

    Don’t generally wear bibs and that on top if I’m likely to fall off.

    I have dhb bibs and the quality is better than my Gore stuff

    It’s not so much a quality issue as one of fabrics and fit. Generally, MTB seat-pads are narrower to allow for more shifting around on the saddle and the MT500 kit is made of thicker fabrics than our typical roadie gear. Just wondering if there was anything else like that? Maybe some of the Euro manufacturers as they have more XC riders wearing lycra gear…
