Just bashed a bottle of Co-Op Spanish Pinotage. No beer in the house so I guess I’ll be moving on to the Father-in-laws home made rakija (about 45% and mixed with honey for eastern European spirit fans)

A bottle of Speckled Hen to start & Rioja with the meal.
Crayfish tail & cucumber salad, followed by venison haunch & black pudding.

ShepherdNeame Master Brew, LiDL’s finest at £8 for eight bottles. Shepherd Neame syphon off some really duff “seasonal” beers through these LiDL offers but this on is really nice.
