Does a whole bike count as an upgrade?

I’ve ditched the camelbak, too damn hot. Nice 12cm Birzman pump too.

A whole new bike is the ultimate upgrade.

Canfield Brothers AM/DH Crank in 155mm length, fitted with an Absolute Black splined N/W ring in 28T flavour.

My last upgrade was also a whole bike, in the shape of a Kinesis FF29, though due to my technological ineptitude you’ll have to use the power of your brains to imagine what it looks like. It’s green if that helps.

Yorkshire rose stem cap. Not really an upgrade, but a really nice graduation present nonetheless.

Since full bikes are apparently allowed. Need better pictures really. 🙂

The weather has upgraded every ride for the last couple of months:

New wheels and narrow wide chainring

Yes they are superstar wheels (tesla evo with tactic AM rim)

Chain hasn’t dropped once in a week of riding in les arc and the wheels have been amazing

No more chesty cough.

BigDummy that Chromag is well nice!

This was halfway through my latest upgrade. First time I’d ever serviced my fork and it was pretty easy! I also swapped the coil for a firm which has transformed the feel of the bike. No more dive but I still get full travel 🙂

I will be doing a full service soon though as I didn’t replace the seals or anything this time so I’ll be getting a service kit and doing it properly.

Picked this ‘upgrade’ up today…

Thought I’d seen the Chromag before, looks even better in the flesh, a genuine double take when you see it
