Is it just me, or Does Beaver Creek sound like a bizarre medical condition?

He hit the concrete platform with his head, shattering his skull. He never regained consciousness. “I knew something terrible happened when I felt the tower shake,” he said later. “I heard screaming. I ran to the edge of the [practice] platform and saw a lot of blood in the pool. I wanted to jump in after him, but people were yelling, ‘Don’t touch him! Don’t touch him!’ I couldn’t watch any more.”
