    Let's all hav a giggle at some of the loony stuff from the dim and distant past, shall we?

    A Scott from back in the day to start off with;

    The Intoxica – Stunning design, just not that well executed!
    Adjustable seat angle and shock mountings

    This was the slightly cheaper version of it.

    Ahead of their time, certainly, but not really what the world was ready for back then! As far as I know, I personnaly sold the only two of these to be sold in the UK! One of the green Pro models and one of the red/white Team model. Would love to know what happened to them!

    And then there was this…

    Mad.
    So, let's see some other oddities from the archives, folks!

    PS I got offered a new Whyte JW2 for less than £800 the other day!

    Kramer, it was MX inspired, the idea being you could move your weight around on it. Looks very odd, but they were truly impressive beasts to ride. Sublime suspension action.

    Oh, and those shoes on there were ace as well! If only Scott still made Tacos….!

    Speaking of ahead of it's time, what about the Mantis Screaming V?

    And, the original, the one and only Hanbebrink Schocker. Precursor to full suspension bikes and precursor to 69ers (it's a 26/24 set up)

    What about the slingshot bikes where there was no downtube, but a cable and a spring in its place with a carbon fibre hinge at the top tube / seat tube junction?
