Tonight I will be partaking of Derby Brewing Co.’s Business As Usual, which is apparently a “Balanced easy drinking malty traditional amber beer”!

Nothing fancy. Some Kingfisher, then some LBV Port with a poky bit of Cheddar.

Local brewery (we have a few 🙂 ). Recommended by the wine shop in Ledbury that I attempt to single handedly keep in business. Very summery, very lovely. Quite hoppy. Bought two, drank one and a half after first one exploded on opening.

To think I’d happily lie down under a screwdriver-opened watneys party 7 until about the age of 30. Now it’s all ‘pour carefully to avoid sediment’ 😉

Bought a slab of these last week from the brewery in St Austell 😀

Started with two bottles of home brewed Hefeweizen,but I’ve just had a bottle of Sheppey’s Vintage Reserve,so it’ll have to be a nip of Calvados next.

Few glasses of ‘Mother’s Ruin’ tonight, a 2011 Mclaren Vale Cab Sauv.

Morgans Spiced Rum and cococola. Just in from fetching the kids back from a party, now answering emails.

As it happens the Fuller’s was on tonight, and damn fine it was too. The second pint seemed even better than the first, and the handled tankard-style glasses really encourage petty larceny!
Apparently a couple of quid in the air ambulance tin salves one’s concience…
