Just been out for a wee run and noticed the last couple of days when I peddle the cranks turn but It dosent seem to engage the hub. Now Im presuming my freehub Is gone and to be honest theres no shame to It as Ive probably done a couple off thousand muddy miles.

Now my hubs are recently serviced formula with a 9 speed shimano cassette , what freehub should I buy and are they easy to fit.

Just strip your freehub down, clean it and re-assemble. That should sort it, unless it has actually “gone”. Then you’ll need to find it, clean it and re-assemble. Or buy a new one.
