I could trawl the Internet for answers but can’t be arsed.
Once you have the box how is the signal received? We have no aerial on the roof.

The equipment required is exactly the same as you used for analogue TV

We have used a number of electronic booster aerials. Most of them you have to fiddle about with to get your favourite channel – sods law dictates that it WILL be your favourite channel affected. But the current one is coming up trumps, which I believe is one of these. It’s the only one we’ve had which we’ve never had to fiddle with at all. It just works.

Just don’t get conned with ‘digital aerials’. Digital aerials are the same as normal aerials, but more expensive. If you’re in an area that doesn’t have a good TV signal then you’ll need a high gain aerial or to mount the areal on a longer pole. I get a good TV signal strength and have a small bog std normal aerial in the loft and get a great HD signal with Freeview HD.

If you already have a Sat dish, it’s probably easier to get a Free sat box.
