Okay, so long story short my brake mount on my pikes has broken.
I have a dj bike with argyle forks on, which the brake mounts are perfect as I don’t run a front brake can I swap the lowers on both forks and have two working forks?

The pikes are 454 air uturn
    The argyles are 302 coil

I understand it is possible to make “pargyles” pike uppers and argyle lowers, but is it possible to make “argikes”? I know these supposedly won’t be as good (heavier and weaker according to peoples reasoning behind making the pargyle ) but I don’t do anything big.. And quite frankly after having a knee operation (acl reconstruction) it’ll be a longgg time before I’m doing anything on the dj bike.

    So… Is it possible?
Will my forks inter work with each other?

    Many thanks!

I thought Argyles were a bit thicker on the stanchions but if their not and their both 32mm then you should be OK.

This bike has argyle lowers and u-turn Pike uppers.

Take the forks apart, you have nothing too lose. I’ve seen a few pairs (Although not for a while) like above.
