Im looking at a new frame possibly on my hardtail.. But unsure of what one will be perfect for swapping parts over from mine i have now..

im after a frame where the angle of the top tube is coming down at the back lol… if that makes sence.

What kind of things to look for and sizings for things..

I no i will always need the biggest size as im huge. Not the size of the frame but the other sizings etc..

    Any tips guys?

What do you have now? Budget? What riding are you doing?

the kind of riding i do is all alps living in Austria and mainly XC and bits of DH but also bits of single track.

I like the look of the bikes like this:

If you're big like me – say over 6ft3 – you might struggle to find an xc hardtail with a sloping top tube, because to get the right geometry and keep plenty of strength around the seat post. Might have to put up with either a gate shaped frame or one that might be abit small for you. I'd recommend you base your choice on how the frame rides rather than just what it looks like. If it was me I'd probably keep your current frame and spend the money on better wheels and drivetrain.

If you're looking at a cheapish frame then your Spesh is already better than the CRC ones and most others out there. Go with Bol's advice and do some serious upgrading, unless you want more travel on the front and a long travel hardtail?

I like my Rocky Mountain as I can have theem in gate size but they do have a good standover height – not cheap though. I suppose a Dialled Alpine kinda thing, http://www.dialledbikes.com/products/mtb/alpine.php but they don;t come any bigger than 18" though.
