What’s good? Seen some nice rubber patches, but there are some clear patches on CRC (Lizard Skins) that look good but how durable are they?

I know heli tape is popular, anyone know a good place from which to get it?

I find it all pretty useless. My 591 would wear straight through in one journey. A mate of mine got his Cotic Flare invisiwrapped and the 591 made short work of that too. I just use a few layers of electrical tape and replace very frequently. Cheap, works better than any invisitape type product I’ve ever used, available in many colours. Not a chore and very effective

At the end of the day it can only ever be a sacrificial layer which implies it needs replacing.

The thick rubber patches I’ve seen look pretty durable.

Rolls of insulation tape… easy, cheap, quick, flexible.
