about to heli tape up a new frame but just wondering whats the best way / method to clean the frame so the tape has the best chance of sticking to it.

Anything alcohol based,brake cleaner ,meths etc,it goes on better of the frames a bit warmer too,use a hair dryer,not a heat gun they’re too aggressive !,& don’t use anything oil based like turps or petrol etc,it don’t stick & makes the vinyl / glue go like jelly !.

just wash it as normal to get it spotless, then wipe with meths to remove any ‘wax’ that the car shampoo leaves behind.
