I’ve just read an interesting article about an antenna developed by an x NASA engineer which claims to be able to pick up the ultra low frequency broadcasts that will allow people to watch legally any television channel in HD for free.

It sounds to good to be true!

Does anyone have any experience of using the thing?

    1) That “article” is an advert by the people selling it. The entire thing reads like pseudo-science.

    2) If it actually works I’ll eat my shoes.

    3) It’s aimed at the US market. Even if it does work in the US, if it works in the UK I’ll eat my socks too.

    4) If it does work and it’s “legal” in any practical sense that means you can receive TV broadcasts without paying any sort of licensing to anyone anywhere, I’m going to need a new wardrobe.

Thought the issue in the US wasnt that free isnt available its just its so vast you cant pick it all up, hence how cable got started, I live in Canada and you can buy hd antennas but need to be very close to a huge US city to pick anything up and then its only local

It sounds to good to be true!

I needed some weight to support a dispute in work.
