Shall be shortly replacing the dust seals on Fox forks (TALAS 32mm) with new low-friction SKF seals. Foam rings to be soaked in 50/50 mix of 10wt/float fluid (thanks Loco), just wondering if the dust seals should be lubed with the same, or greased with RSP Ultra Slick (or similar) – any experience? Cheers. (yes I know I should’ve asked Loco earlier but I forgot..!)

I lubed them with 10wt oil when i put them in. It says to do so in the fox tech-docs on their site.

As Enigmas said with me too

I lubed them, along with the foam rings, with Float fluid, as Mojo recommend.

I wouldn’t use grease. It attracts muck and turns into grinding paste and you need new seals again.
