Had my Fox 36’s serviced & a spendy cartridge upgrade earlier this year.
They got well used at Les Arcs, rode the bike a couple of times over here since & on compression the right fork has started to make a strange noise so I want to take them apart & see what’s going on.
Question is,If it’s just something loose can I get away with re-using the seals why I go for a test ride or do you have to replace the seals EVERY time you remove the lowers?
I’ll be fitting new seals as soon as I’m sure I’ve fixed the noise problem.
    Thanks in advance

Dust seals are OK but crush washers I personally wouldn’t reuse

In that case I’ll just drop the lowers & see if I can find what’s making the noise then put them back together for a short test run

Dust seals can be left in place and used time and time again. Check out Mojo’s service videos.
