Even with the damping setting on full whack the shock returns pretty quickly. There is some damping but not as much as I would like – can this be solved by a simple DIY service or will it require TF Tuned and the best part of £80?

If it's over 12 months old would probably benefit from a service, the damper unit is nitrogen charged so not home serviceable, also the seal kits are not available. I will be offering Fox rear shock services in the next month or so when I've finished testing my seal kits.

I had it serviced by TF tuned 12 months ago just before I went to the alps.

If it's just lost the damping having been working fine up until now it sounds like an internal seal has gone.

How do I fix that? The damping does work but only just.

Internal damper seals are replaced along with the oil and nitrogen as part of a service.
