Need some oil to service a DHX 3.0 (or 4.0) for a friend. Any idea what weight suspension oil I need?
    Have the options of 2.5, 5.0, 7.5, 10, 15 or 20wt.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Which bit are you trying to service? The air can or the damper?

10wt, (whatever that means) is standard. DHX comes stock with 10W Fox Fluid (rebadged Silkolene pro RSF 10) so find the cst and go from there

Or stick whatever you have in it and just adjust settings accordingly

    Edit: Silkolene Pro RSF (10wt)

    47.36

    13.69

Are you confusing forks with shocks?

I’m pretty sure you can’t do anything more than an air can service on the shocks at home as the damper’s presurised. In which case you just need float fluid.

Pressurised with air. which you let out.
Only one you cant do is the OEM 5 on the Specializeds as that nitro charged.

Not really much point servcing the damper unless you have the seal kit, if it’s not working properly a seal will have gone that needs replacing or it will happen again fairly quickly.
You need to set the IFP to correct height too.
