advice needed please a friend bought a brand new fox dhx 5.0 & it didnt fit his bike. another biking friend has an orange 5 & this shock is perfect inc the hardware for fit.

he said i could have it for £120.00 notes so i bought it there & then & told my mate what id done,chuffed to bits he is an all,…..now the dilema i have the shock at home & have found now that it will also fit my full suss perfectly inc hardware & the stroke is the same,my bike currenlty has a dt swiss hvr 200 shock which if absolutly brillaint but its old & im now drooling over the fox.

A.do i fit it & explain what ive done to my biker mate
