Going to do a oil and wiper change on my forks, I’ve been looking at the various u-tube guides and the fox website for hints and tips all looks similar to doing it on a RS rebas.

I’ve now found this morning that fox don’t recomend using fox fluid in the foam wipers any more but suspension fluid. Is this right? Do you use the fox fluid if your doing a lower strip only or just sus fluid?

Fox recommend using float fluid in just the air chamber to lube the piston now when using the SKF/Low friction wipers and new slightly denser foam rings which don’t absorb the float fluid anywhere near as well.
I us a 50% 10wt (lower lube oil) and float fluid mix to soak the foam rings in as it holds in the foam rings a touch better than straight 10wt, but it does matter too much if you don’t have any. 😀

Thanks LoCo. Shame I didn’t know this before ordering the float fluid from you yesterday! 😳

Maybe I will do a strip of the air chamber as well.
