I have a set of 2014 rockshox reba RL 650b forks on my hardtail. I really fancied a set of kashima coated fit 32’s when I was building it, but couldn’t justify the cost (nearly full rrp) so went with the rebas instead. They are fine forks, no complaints, but I spied a set of fox 32 factory things with the Kashmir coat on the CRC sale for 370 and with various codes I can get them for 320.
So the question is, is the kashima coat, better damping etc going to give a noticeable difference over the rebas?
