I'd be up for that, would be a bit of a laugh. When Forza 1 was out I spent weeks challenging a guy from work to hot laps of the Nurburgring in a Bentley Speed 8

Not sure about the ring! The laps take ages!!

Yep, go for it. I'm deadlydarcy on there too.

Well up for it but not got live at present. Would post times here. My vote Laguna Seca.

I like maple over suzuka

Not good enough to race online yet, but just done 1.34.662 at Laguna in a Merc CLK GTR - did go off the road once though.

which maple track catflees?
Posted 1 year ago # -
1:26:652 @ laguna in the flying lizard, was second lap (not standing start)
Posted 1 year ago # -
Full or short @ maple. Don't mind though happy to race anywere.

Jeez - 8 seconds quicker. Told you I was pants. Is the Lizard super quick?
Saying that I tend to screw up if I get in anything too quick - it is a long time since I've owned a console (Wii excluded)

I did have stability and abs on...
Posted 1 year ago # -
I'll not tell you what I had on catflees
Posted 1 year ago # -
1.27.457 on laguna seca but only bought the game an hour ago
Posted 1 year ago # -
big yim - I hate you
Posted 1 year ago # -
What aids big yim?
Posted 1 year ago # -
1:33.989
Standing start, ABS and Traction Control, no other assists
Posted 1 year ago # -
if it's going to be done properly then we need to all be using same car/track/start method/assists otherwise it's pointless
oooh, that felt a bit anal (so to speak)
Posted 1 year ago # -
abs and traction control with standard setup
Posted 1 year ago # -
Ok: abs, tc, standard set up rolling start (to save having to restart each time?)
Posted 1 year ago # -
1:25.036 without abs

Bart takes the crown

trying to set a tskuba time now
Posted 1 year ago # -
best tskuba full time 57.744 very beatable I think

My xbox is cooling down at the moment due to red ring of death, i'll check back later to see your times.
I agree with catflees on maple valley being better than suzuka.Posted 1 year ago # -
Tskuba: 54.495. (abs+tc) I am playing on a tiny 19" screen thats 10 foot away lying in bed with chronic pneumonia and fluid in one lung tho! I like that porsche, only got the game at Christmas and been in hospital for a few days so not driven it before
Going to have some time on my hands over the next week or two so I'll report back once I've had some practise (and well enough to get in the lounge and on the proper telly!)
[edit] Another vote for Maple Valley (full) over Suzuka
Posted 1 year ago # -
Oooh this looks like fun, will set some lap times in the Porsche later this evening
Posted 1 year ago # -
Tskuba 55:453, hope the pneumonia doesn't hurt too much. I had it 3 years ago awful.
Posted 1 year ago # -
Maple valley short 38:998
Posted 1 year ago # -
Are we opening the car setup can of worms. Done a 1.25.5 on Laguna with a quick tune
Posted 1 year ago # -
Hmm, haven't played for ages and I appear to be a little bit under par! 56:378 is the best I can get on Tsuka with the Flying Lizard, abs and tc
I will try maple!
