I seem to have tweaked a ligament (guess from google image of foot) which goes from the ankle area down to the arch of my foot and presumably beyond at both ends. When I rub the centre of the arch it is slightly tender and I can feel it when pushing hard on the pedals. This is the second time I’ve done it in the last few months albeit the first time was worse. Any idea what i’m doing to strain this area? Its not like i’m new to riding a bike or anything, nor is it something I have had in the past.

No pain in my heel at all…thankfully.

Think I’ve got relatively high arches based on the wet foot on floor ‘test’.

Anything changed anywhere (I don’t just mean on the bike)? New shoes? Had a innocuous fall? Stood on some Lego 🙂

Nope, none of the above although I came very close to a megablok the other day 😀
