Moved to Fort William last winter and don’t know many trails apart from Nevis and Wolftrax. Used to bike a lot as a kid, but skiing took over for a while. Got back into biking in Canada last year and now have no idea why I stopped for so long.
Really keen to get on some local trails, so if anyone knows of any fun XC or DH trails in the area and willing to share the info that’d be great – got a car as well so can drive to places.
    Cheers

    HI

Fort William local here. There are loads of trails in Nevis Range that are not marked you just need to keep an eye to the side of the trails.

If you are on the climb up to the top of the World Cup XC on the last steep section look off to the right for a nice secret trail known locally as resurection.

Basically any fire road your on up in Nevis Range just keep an eye of to the side and you will see the real hidden gems !

There’s plenty trails about, but depends on what type you prefer. Devils staircase/Kinlochleven is good and there are trails at Glen Loy and Glen Nevis too. A good local guide to show you around helps a lot as well as looking at segment explorer on Strava. I’m from the Fort but stay an hour up the Inverness road now, plenty good trails around here too if you want to visit.
