Bought these just before Christmas 2nd hand and ridden them twice and they feel a bit notchy on compression, in particular with the damping, spoke to Magura who said it is likely to be the compression damper and its £100 plus fitting and they would need to srvice them to another £85 plus postage. They do not seem to just have a look and they felt sure this was the problem. Looks like a bill of 220+, should I sack it off a buy some air55 ‘s for £390 with 3 year guarantee (no servicing) or something else new and cut my loses or stick having them fixed?

Same happened to me. Had a chat with Mike at magura (07773 453681) and he did me a deal on half of the components. Still it was about £130. They have been fine since and do feel nice but I wish I had sent them back and bought something else before I messed with them.
