can any one recommend some forks for my brother?

we have a riding group of middle aged blokes; doing 20 miles on a sunday through mild mannered herts.

he has joined us ona specialized hardtail with manitou forks; axel i think; the forks are crap basically and bottom out all the time

he is 6’1 17.5 stone.

any thoughts on a good upgrade?

Depending on the travel required and how bothered he is by the forks weight, I’d suggest either Z1SL with 150mm travel or DJ3 with 100mm. My mate, 95kgs and counting, uses the latter to good effect in the Tatras.
