    I’d like to put somehting lighter on than the steel sprung 6 pound nightmares that came on the lads GT. They need to have canti mounts any ideas?

    You’ll struggle. Pace did a VERY rare 24″ fork with canti mounts I think – there was one on eBay a few weeks ago but thats only the second one I’ve ever seen (and they’re at least 10 years old).

    Marzocchi did the D-Street but I don’t think it had canti mounts and was built like a mini Monster-T!

    cheap 24″ disc wheel, 80mm mtb 26″ forks, cheap cable disc?
