I’m really glad I didn’t read this thread before I built my BFe with 150mm Revs. Who knew that I was doing it all wrong and my bike isn’t half as much fun as I’ve been thinking all this time!!

Actually thats true – its just how you determine the ‘how much travel’ you want that depends on what you can actually use.

Gone from a set of lyriks on my slackline to 140 revs and the bike feels a whole load better. I kept the revs originally as i wanted to swap between a FS alps bike and my hardtail. tbh.. the lyriks were too much. Too heavy and too much travel at 160. I also think the axle to crown of the lyriks at 140 was more than the revs at 140.
