My pikes are nice and all, but the standard MoCo action is really bugging me. The forks blow through too much travel on square edge hits, particularly annoying on the steep downs, so the fork sinks down loads making the weight bias too far forward. Hit square edge, boosh, no resistance to oil fluid as the MoCo gate blows open.

Now 2011 Rev RLT Ti’s black box damper has the addition of the high speed shim stack behind the oil port.

Anyway, enough of that. The pikes feel stiff enough to me, haven’t tried burlier forks so have no basis for comparison, but i certainly don’t want anything that feels flexy compared to my pikes, how does the stiffness compare?

I can’t notice any difference in real life.
