Where’s best for testosterone fuelled middle aged MTBers who want some real ale then an early night? Just for 1 night, dont really want B&B, pub / not posh hotel maybe. Near to the pedalabikeaway or to the north bestest.

we stayed here last year, nice location, pedal a bike is 5-10 minutes drive away, on the down side the toilet/shower block could do with a proper clean (minimum requirement for us, so we ain’t going back), there’s plenty of staff but i think as it’s part of a chain then they don’t give a shit.
