Uncooked cheese, if it hadn’t been grilled or toasted etc I wouldn’t touch it, jesus I’ll eat lumps of cheese with anything these days. And tomatoes, I missed out on sweet juicy tomatoes for nigh on 35 years 😯

Curry. Didn’t have my first until 18
    Pizza. First at 22
Cheese still has to be cooked, or at least melted, though
    Bacon. Yes really

Pizza and Curry for me too , I was 17 before I ever ate a pizza now I love pizza (but not with fish on that’s just wrong) .I started with Tandoori chicken when I was about 15 but wouldn’t anything spicy that wasn’t also dry and was at least 18 before I did.

I didn’t have my first curry until I was in my 20s. My daughters (aged 6) had their first aged about 3 and their favourite meal out treat is the curry house.

    My work here is done.

Fish. I was put off everything but fish fingers from an early age by boney chip shop cod. I spent 15 years missing out on it.

Accidentally bought a tuna and cheese roll at uni for lunch (tuna was hidden under grated cheese) , was hungry and skint so took a second bite, by the fourth you’d have had to fight me for it!

Also it’s OK to eat fish, as they don’t have any feelings.

    Others

    Marmite
    Marmalade

That’s about it. I’ve always liked diverse food.

I still can’t stand prunes or kiwi.

    Olives, stout, curry.
I was introduced to curry by a girlfriend who also introduced me to chili sauce; she’s half Chinese, but it was her Brummie dad who used to do the curries, and damn fine they were too, as were the Chinese dishes her mum served up.

Anchovies – horrendous as a kid. Now – the perfect fishy hit of seasoning for tomato sauces, pizzas etc.

Black pudding – a bloody foul evil thing for the kid me. Now – the ultimate tasty superfood. nom.

Olives – I used to hate them with a passion, until one day I didn’t and now they are rather tasty.

We have a 6 year old who won’t eat mash, I was kinda hoping it would be a short term thing! Oh well 🙂
