    Need to get my boys out more, thinking of a FOD visit.
    The youngest couldn’t manage the Verderers, so what trails or bike routes are worth a look.
    Also are there any super cheap hostels we could bunk in?

    There was a lad on a 16″ wheel Islabike on the Verderers on Saturday. Are you sure that your youngest couldn’t do it?

    Anyhow, there’s a family trail that takes you round the forest as well, mostly (IIRC) based on an old railway line.

    Yeah, the old railway line trail should be ok for little’un

    Family trail is good for all; Verderers is good fun for the young uns too (depends on the child, natch)
