    I’m wondering about buying a Marin Rocky Ridge. My lbs has one bike with a Fox Float R and one with a Vanilla R. Which would you buy and why?

    Get the vanilla, assuming the correct spring is or can be fitted and ask for a discount as it is a cheaper fork.

    The vanilla r is a great fork. I’ve had one for a couple of years and find it plush and easy to set up.
