I do a small site for the local parish mag and they normally just mail me the articles as words docs. However, this month they lost them and sent me a hard copy. Rather OCR it etc. I thought one of those fancy page flip things for the website would be cool.

Anyone recommend or use a some software that would be suitable. Preferably open source.

    🙂

no idea, could try the free one at bottom, demo seems ok
not a converter as I suggested. There probably some restriction on file size or you won’t be able to save it 😉

Issuu is quite good, but it’s a host rather than something you can install on your own site.

Ta Klunk and all. Works fine. Better scans cropping next edition but it went up quick.

Kvisoft Flippbok Maker can Turn PDFs into Animated Page Flipping E-Books, there are some demos you can have a look, it is cool.
