my N+1 (a hybrid next) Looks like it comes with crap platform pedals and toe straps!

Not into them, so, what flat pedals for a nice hybrid (flat bar road bike really, Trek FX) please?

Mine has wellgo mg1s on it- light and inexpensive and they last a long time. They’re too fat for my taste for offroad use but fine for the hybrid

Some of the plastic ones look good.
Do you want plastic or alloy?

I’ve got Nukeproof Electrons on the Dh and trail bike.

I started a thread on flat pedals under £40 a few days ago. Lots of suggestions on there:

    Metal:

Wellgo MG1 – potentially under £30 if you shop around on eBay
Carbon Cycles alloy flats (this is what I have bought) £33 delivered
    DMR V12 £38 cheapest I found them
Superstar Nano x – £44 I think at the moment

    Plastic:

Superstar El Plastique £23 I think
Nuke proof Electron / Neutron / Horizon
    Race face Chester

Of the plastic ones I would have got the Nukeproof Neutron I think.
