Got some old FiveTen Freeride shoes (6+ years old) that are fine, but have gone soft in the sole. Amazing how much my rear foot aches at the bottom of a long run now. So, just get a new pair or are other shoes better but still offer the stiffness?

Just looked at the Adidas Terrex. Look good and a couple of quid cheaper than the ’17 Freerider Pro. Any real life views on the Adidas? My riding is rooty, woodsy type.

I have the new sl version, very comfy. The stiffer sole does give less pedal feel, had them about a month & ridden quite a bit lately, seem very well put together and tough. They are like my teva links but with gripper sole.
